So, for my independent study class, I have decided to learn the basics about using Python. I was already partway through the python course, and I've tried it at home by myself before, but I didn't really get it. However, now I'm finally trying it one more time, and I have gone through the pig latin translator and the functions unit this week. I then proceeded to get through the "Taking a Vacation" unit and wrote some code with just instructions of what it's supposed to do. Here's that code:
Then, I learned about dictionaries and lists. It was fun to figure out what I did wrong until I got the snippet of code at the bottom to finally work.
